The third round for Xiaomi Smart phone went up
for sale at 2 pm today and in a snap of a Finger, it was wiped off the
shelves. It is really hard to believe that 15,000 units of a phone could be wiped off at this rate but this is what happened earlier today. Looks like as
soon as someone hits the buy button, the phone is labeled “Out of Stock”. The
next sale is on August 12 and the registrations will begin at 6 PM today. Users
will have to register again for the next sale.
Xiaomi has been using Raksha Bandhan as a
perfect stage to pitch it sales and the demand of the phone clearly states that
it has been successful in its attempt.
At just Rs. 13,999 this is a killer smartphone
packed with tons of features and has an amazing build quality. But even though
the response is touching the roof, the company has not been able to satisfy the
needs of all the registered users (around 1,50,000) but hopefully, in the near
future, the company will increase its production.
